I painted this while in art academy in an exercise to practice color mixing. I remember working on this in the grass at an abbey while monks passed by me unfazed. This was such a joy to paint and I think you can feel that in this painting. If you need a pop of color on your walls, this would do the trick! (This painting would pair nicely with “Girl, At Sunrise.”)
