This was a study painted en plein air on the property of a Franciscan convent. I painted this after experiencing a traumatic dental event and it helped my brain get out of the flight or fight response it was currently in. Maybe that’s TMI, but every painting is just a visual story. Maybe you too need to “Let the Light In.”
